June

Well if you have already read "May" then this Blog will make more sense, if you haven't I recommend going and reading it first.
So in June because Sean was supposed to be gone my family had planned a long vacation to help me get my mind off of Sean. Now I know Sean was home but we decided that I should go anyways and so I left with my family for two weeks to go and visit my brother and sister-in-law and see the Midwest. I had so much fun while I was gone. I've never been to Texas and that is where we spent out first week. We went to this River walk which is pretty much an irrigation ditch filled with water and then restaurant built all around it... no it's a real River but it felt like an irrigation ditch sometimes. I don't have pictures of it so if you're really interested look it up online. Anyways, we also went swimming, and went to these caves, we went to Sea World, and to the Alamo. Texas is really hot but we were lucky because the day that we got there the clouds came and they didn't leave until the day that we left. It was really nice. I still couldn't wear my hair down but I was still thankful that it wasn't as hot as it normally was. So here are a few pictures of Texas.
The first picture is a dolphin at Sea World and the second one is Malena and I getting ready to ride a roller coaster at Sea World.

And the first picture on this one is Malena and the back of my dad going into the caves. The Second picture I have to explain! I wanted to see inside this dark cave that was inside the cave and so I decided to take a picture and use my flash to light the cave up. Right as I took the picture my nephew Kaden stuck his hand in the picture and so when I showed it to him he thought there were ghosts in the cave. It was really awesome.

The first picture is of the Alamo... it's such a cool place. The second picture is the very last day in Texas while we were out to dinner. And the third picture is my ring finger inside the largest ring in the world. I have another picture of my sister sticking two fingers inside the ring... completely inside the ring.

So we left Texas and headed to Kansas City where we watched a Royals baseball game. The funny thing is that they were playing the Texas Rangers and so we decided to root for the Rangers and in the end the Rangers kicked the Royals butt. After Kansas we went to Navuoo and all the places over there. We went to Carthage and Far West and even though I've already seen those I still think they're amazing. We also went to a little Amish villiage and to Adam-on-diomin (I admit I don't have a clue how to spell that). So while we were in Navuoo we saw some major storms and were always either one hour ahead or behind a tornado, never in one though. Then on the day we were supposed to leave Navuoo we almost didn't make it because the Mississippi was raising so fast the all the road into and out of Navuoo were being shut down. Anyways, so here are a few pictures from this part of the trip.
The first one is of the game. The second one is Mahauni and I at the game. The third is the Navuoo temple. The girl you don't recognize is Malena's friend that lives out there.

So this is all of the girls petting a horse and this is me holding onto the horns of a really mean ox. Right after the guy took my picture the bull throw his head back and I went flying into that tree behind me. Apparently the ox that I wasn't holding was the nice ox and Malena and her friend went up and actually hugged it's face. The last picture (sorry it's sideways) is the Community of Christ Temple... pretty crazy huh.

Well that is my trip in a nutshell and I have so many other pictures that I wish that I could show you all. But I don't remember how to put a slide show on so you're going to have to deal with these few pictures. Oh so some of you are probably wondering what Sean did while I was on this trip. Well he didn't do much. He dug out my parents backyard so that they could put in a sprinkler system, he worked out, looked for a job, his friend Greg (mentioned in "May") came home and so he spent some time with him. He also retook the test that he failed (also mentioned in "May") and passed it.
When I got home school started for me and Sean started at his new job and the rest of June ended pretty quickly. And that takes us to July.
